About Feather Your Nest Beaufort
Feather Your Nest Beaufort opened in 2022 as a sister business to our Earth Wood Fire Design landscape company. As we both have an education in design, a love for the arts, and a need to create, this space was a natural evolution for us to share our creations.
We love what we do and We are delighted to share our creative endeavors with all of you.
We are located in beautiful Beaufort by the Sea, on the eastern coast of North Carolina. Housed in a very cool building the both of them designed & built, patrons can visit the showroom/ gallery & take a peek at the latest creations from the active woodworking shop & Bev’s working art studio.
Phil is a talented woodworker, building custom and bespoke furniture available locally, as well as patios, decks, and porches. With the opening of Feather Your Nest, he has expanded his offerings to include birdhouses as well as heirloom-quality kitchen tools. Learn more about Phil and his work.
“Every piece we sell starts as a raw slab in our Beaufort workshop. From our signature 'Oyster Shucking Shoes' to the striped cutting boards, we focus on items that are built to be used. When you buy a board from us, you aren't just getting a kitchen accessory—you're getting a piece of craftsmanship designed to last a lifetime.”
Beverly, an accomplished painter, has always been an artist. She is dedicated to the creative process, focusing on the natural evolution & curiosity of exploring abstract painting. Her work is on display on the walls of the Feather Your Nest showroom, offering a selection of her work online, as well as various exhibition and gallery shows throughout the east coast. Her work has resonated with others & she is just keeping up with the demand. Learn more about Beverly and her work.
“The artwork I am making now is a result of a combination of pushing my imagination with a strong dedication to showing up consistently putting in the time to grow as an artist. The layers of color & texture through mediums & colláge build upon each other until the elements all come together to tell a story. My work is very physical both in the making & as a finished piece inviting touch. My wish is that you are touched by a painting & will enjoy living with the art as you constantly see new elements in the depth of the piece. “
