Feather Your Nest Beaufort

Feather Your Nest Beaufort opened in 2022 as a sister business to Earth Wood Fire Design Landscape Co. As they both have an education in design, a love for the arts with a need to create, this space was a natural evolution.

We are delighted to share our creative endeavors with all of you.

Located in beautiful Beaufort by the Sea, on the eastern coast of North Carolina is where you can find them working in their respective studio/ woodworking shop. Housed in a cool turquoise & white building the both of them designed & built, patrons can visit the welcoming gallery to purchase one of a kind wall art or functional wooden pieces for the home. Phil is continuing to push himself with new techniques & ideas in his shop.

“Every piece we sell starts as a raw slab in the Beaufort workshop. From our signature 'Oyster Shucking Shoes' to the striped cutting boards, we focus on items that are built to be used. When you buy a board from us, you aren't just getting a kitchen accessory—you're getting a piece of craftsmanship designed to be an heirloom”.

Beverly, an accomplished painter, has always been an artist. She is dedicated to the creative process, focusing on the natural evolution & curiosity of exploring abstract painting. She is inspired by her surroundings, the sky, her gardens & the marsh. Her work is on display on the walls of the Feather Your Nest Beaufort, a selection of her work is online, as well as various exhibition & gallery shows throughout the east coast.

“The artwork I am making now is a result of a combination of pushing my imagination, with a strong dedication to showing up consistently, along with purposeful experimentation. The layers of paint & texture through mediums & colláge build upon each other until the elements all come together to tell a story. My wish is that you will enjoy living with the art as more than decoration as you constantly see new elements & feel emotions in the depth of the piece”.

The Feather Your Nest Beaufort showroom is open year round.

You can also find Phil at the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market on Saturdays from April — November. Some of the work is offered throughout the area in different shops, so don’t be surprised to see Phil’s oyster knife while browsing at Ginny Gordon’s in downtown Morehead City!
